What to expect for $150
Join a 3.5-hour guided workshop in Fremantle and create your very own portrait from a photo.
We provide coffee, tea, and water, and you’re welcome to BYO drinks. Delicious healthy bites are included while you paint.
Our studio is perfect for small groups (max. 10 participants), offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

- This is a painting workshop like no other – my sister, mum and I have each done several more traditional ‘sip and paint’ classes and, after accumulating a number of effectively meaningless paintings, felt that we had exhausted this as an option… until I stumbled upon Lizette and Sophie’s portrait class. It was so special for us to watch our respective mums come to life as we painted each layer of our portraits. Lizette and Sophie were both incredibly gracious and patient, providing constructive feedback as well as lending their artistic expertise where needed. We are so grateful to have shared such a beautiful bonding experience, what a fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

- Absolutely wonderful! I had so much fun — a perfect 10/10. The instructions were very easy to follow, and the vibe of the studio — the music, the space, and the group energy — was really lovely. I had plenty of time and space to paint comfortably, and the experience felt truly special. I haven’t been to any other workshops like this before, but I think $150 is a fair price for what you get. I would definitely recommend Poppin’ Painting to a friend!
- Thank you for a wonderful painting experience! I got so absorbed I completely forgot about a dinner party I had to organise afterwards. On a scale of 1–10, I’d give it a 10 for sheer pleasure. Lizette and Sophie were the best teachers — patient, helpful, and full of great colour suggestions. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, the music was perfect, and the session ran smoothly. $150 is totally worth it for 4 hours of fun and a beautiful portrait to take home. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family — I’ll be back.
